Genuine MakerBot Translucent PLA Filament is Optimized for the MakerBot Replicator, Replicator Z18, & Replicator 2 3D Printer. We have found MakerBot PLA filament to have excellent colour consistency between rolls, high manufacturing quality and dimensional accuracy and lower print failures. We have also found that Genuine MakerBot PLA filament has a higher vicat softening temperature than other inferior brand filament making it less prone to heat creep and blocked extruders. Genuine MakerBot PLA filament is recommended for Makerbot 3D Printers such as the MakerBot Replicator 5th Generation series (MakerBot Mini, MakerBot Replicator, MakerBot Z18), the MakerBot Replicator 2.
