This is a book on practical book-making ideas for children in the primary school, with activities that cover a range of text types from a sequential narrative to advertising copy. There are step-by-step instructions and diagrams for each project, along with photographs of the the finished books which children have made. The aim is to give children the opportunity to explore how books work and to narrow the gap between their reading and writing.
