Malaban Wash controls fleas, lice and adult brown ticks on dogs, cats and in dog kennels. Also controls sarcoptic mange mites on dogs and cats and aids in control of red mites in avairies as per directions for use. Warnings Does not control paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus). In tick season, search animal daily (including between the toes and behind the ears) and remove any ticks found. Do not use on puppies and kittens under 3 months of age. Do not use in conjunction with any other organophasphate based product including Proban tablets. If you are unsure please ask. Directions for use Dogs. Fleas (Ctenocephalides sp.), lice (Trichodectes canis). 15 mL/L water; swab animal thoroughly. Repeat in 7 to 10 days if necessary. Saturate kennel thoroughly, concentrating on cracks and crevices. Remove animal until kennel dries.Sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabei), ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). 30 mL/L water; swab animal thoroughly. Repeat in 7 to 10 days. SAFETY DIRECTIONS: This product is poisonous if absorbed by skin contact or inhaled or swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid breathing vapour or spray mist. When preparing and using the product wear elbow length PVC gloves. When using in enclosed areas waer a face shield. If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water. After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. (M1240)
