Product Details Genuine malachite, a banded green copper stone Single stone suspended on a chain Sold as a single piece Natural stone: banding and color vary from piece to piece Cleanse with smoke or moonlight; keep malachite dry, as it is sensitive to water The Spiritual Significance To read a pendulum is to let a swinging weight answer what the conscious mind cannot quite reach. The practice took its modern shape in radiesthesia, but the impulse behind it is old and widespread across folk divination. Malachite brings its own long story to the work. Traders once carried it as a guardian stone, and it has kept its reputation as a protector and a draw for steady abundance. Crystal lore links it to the heart and to courageous change. As a pendulum it leans toward questions of money, work, and the kind of growth that asks you to be brave, offering answers that feel grounded rather than flighty. How To Use the Malachite Pendulum Cleanse the pendulum with smoke or moonlight, then hold it and set a clear intention for honest answers. Establish your signals: let the stone hang still, ask it to show you "yes," and note the direction it swings; repeat for "no" and for "unclear." Hold the chain steady between thumb and finger, ask your question in a calm voice, and let the stone move on its own rather than guiding it. Read the swing against your signals, and trust the first clear movement over later second-guessing. When you finish, still the pendulum, store it somewhere clean and dry, and return to it whenever a decision needs a second voice. Pairs Well With White Sage Smudge Sticks to cleanse the pendulum and clear your space before a reading. Selenite Incense Burner as a dry charging surface to rest and reset the stone between sessions. Black Obsidian Scrying Mirror for a companion scrying tool when a question asks for more than yes or no. Clear Quartz Polygon to amplify focus and intention while you work. Flower of Life Selenite Harmonizer held in each hand to settle and clear yourself before you dowse. Frequently Asked Questions What is the difference between this and the 6-Sided Malachite Pendulum? Both are genuine malachite divination pendulums with the same associations. This one keeps a simple shape and a shorter chain for an easy, everyday hang. The six-sided version is a faceted point on a longer nine-inch chain, which gives a slower, more deliberate swing. The choice is about feel. Are malachite pendulums good for beginners? Yes. Pendulum work is a gentle entry into divination. You set your own yes, no, and unclear signals, ask simple questions, and read the swing. A single-stone malachite pendulum hangs cleanly, which makes the movement easy to follow as you build trust in your intuition. How do I cleanse and care for it? Cleanse it with incense or sage smoke or a night under the moon. Keep malachite dry, since water can damage its surface over time, and avoid prolonged direct sun. Store it somewhere clean and dry, and re-cleanse whenever a reading feels muddied. Is malachite safe to handle? Polished malachite is safe to hold and work with. It should not be ground into powder or placed in drinking water or elixirs, since raw malachite dust contains copper. In pendulum work you only handle the smooth, sealed surface, so everyday use is simple and safe. How do I know the answers are trustworthy? A pendulum reflects your own subtle responses, so clarity grows with practice. Set clear signals, ask one focused question at a time, and cleanse the stone between sessions. Treat it as a way to listen inward and weigh a feeling, not as a source of fixed predictions.
