Malas are traditionally used to track the recitations of a mantra, prayer, chant or simply the names of a deities or God. Gemstones enhance different mantras, and particular gemstones enhance the different planetary mantras. You can use one mala or even a rosary for all or designate one for a particular personal expression. The malas are generally worn on the right wrist and when used contain 108 beads for recitations. Smaller versions are also popular with one strand around the wrist. A common center bead is just about that, centering. Sandalwood is common and used to introduce the essences, touch and voice working together. We carry many versions and also can share some of the mantras you can recite. 10mm Wood or Stone Bead Malas however, custom requests are available.
