A delicate hand knitted necklace in a classic circular design. This was shape frequently worn by Mughal royalty, more often made in gold, studded with colourful precious gems. This design is named ‘Malika’ which is the Persian name for princess. The piece is designed to sit high at the base of the neck, delicately curving around to the nape. A beautiful necklace to wear for that special occasion. Materials: Sterling silver or Gold-filled clasp, extender chain and components, enamelled copper jewellery wire, Austrian crystal. Necklace size: The piece is 2cm wide at the centre, tapering to 1.5cm at the ends. The length around is 28cm extending to 31cm with the extender chain.
