Altberg Mallerstang The Mallerstang is the original Altberg classic Alpine style mountain boot. The Vibram ‘Ice Trek’ sole has a strong ‘heel lug’ for use with articulated crampons in winter conditions. The leather is 2.8mm thick Anfibio Culatte, which means it is from only the very best area of the hide. At Altberg we are one of the few bootmakers still making all leather mountain boots with the traditional materials and components; tried and tested for more than 20 years.
