Malus 'Brandywine' has pink petal-filled, double flowers that are reminiscent of roses. In spring, the tree is covered in the scented pink blossom. Green leaves with red tinges eme rge and take on stronger red-purple hues in autumn. Small yellow crab apples adorn the tree in autumn. Forming a tree with a rounded head, Malus 'Brandywine' will grow to an estimated height and spread of 5 x 4 metres in 20 years. Growing well in full sun to partial shade, 'Brandywine' is suitable for most soil types with adequate drainage.
