Blossom appears in spring, typically white with pink tints, and fruit is generally ready to pick in October in Ireland. Grow in full sun in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil; a sheltered site helps protect blossom and improves fruit set. This cultivar is triploid and needs two compatible pollinators nearby; it will not act as a pollinator for other apples.
