The Malvasia macerated "orange" wine from Rokovi is a journey of taste. A tribute to our winemaking tradition and particular care toward a sustainable future. With the minimal intervention winemaking style, you can enjoy all the skin-macerated flavors. It sparks with the freshness of Malvasia’s white grapes from sunny hillslopes. A single vineyard from the first-class categorized terrain named “Pod Cesto”. An excellent vineyard in the wine-producing region of Brda. The taste is fruity and textured, a very interesting full-bodied adventure. It was on skins for the right amount of time to extract the aromatics. Aged in the new and used barrels for approximately one year. It will light up the winter days and cool down the summer evenings. Tasting notes The color is light amber close. The taste resembles citruses, pears, acacia flowers, apricots, and a hint of refined tannins. It is a definite taste winner and will last in time. It can age for years and it should gain roundness with time. Pairs well with Seafood, fresh fish, and salads. Serving Chilled, wait in the glass to warm up. Vineyard notes This vineyard is on a hillslope under the village of Dobrovo. The great view is not only interesting but is facing to the north helping to make the temperatures cooler during the summer. A great combination of the location and the soil makes these wines so exciting. Production notes Malvasia orange wine is a tribute to our grandfathers. They were drinking this type of wine when playing cards over the table with friends. This wine is very drinkable and enjoyable. Take special care of it and store it in a dark place, try one bottle after some years and tell me.
