Bring your baby & learn to some printmaking techniques with professional illustrator Becky Stewart, with 10 years of experience. Discover the art of printmaking by learning how to carve and print your own rubber stamp designs. Create unique greetings cards by tracing and transferring images onto a 6 x 4 inch lino block, then use lino cutters and a scalpel to carve your design. Experiment with ink pads to print patterns, textures, and creative compositions. You will leave with your very own stamps and a range of greetings cards using your designs. Depending on time, we will play with mono-printing and stencils too! Workshop for all skill levels- no pressure to be 'perfect' or 'artsy'. I will have toys/ mats for babies, bring whatever you need to make your little one comfortable- be it bouncers or activity mats! Please be aware that we will be using sharp implements some weeks and the table surfaces will be a baby free zone for safety, I'll set chairs aside from the table for clingy babs on these weeks. If this isn't your first baby then it's very likely you will have an older child in tow. My toddler likes to get involved in all crafting activities however the art activities at these workshops are strictly for adults as we will be using materials which are not safe for little people to use.
