"Mambo No.5" was recently featured at the James Museum of Art, during the Firestone Grand Prix, in St. Petersburg, Florida. 20"x20" Gallery Wrapped Canvas. This painting features a metallic pink backdrop with hand painted banana leaves intertwined with the historically beautiful curves of the Aston Martin DBR1. The final work was sprayed with a high gloss clear coat in a professional automotive paint booth, which encapsulates the imagery and highlights the sparkle and depth of color in the hand painted designs. The gallery wrapped canvas features a thick, 2”, hand-painted edge that allows the imagery in the artwork to flood over the sides of the canvas.
