In the mid-1940s, many developers passed on developing this area... "They said Mammoth's elevation was too high, the mountain got too much snow and it was too far from major popula tion area." Then mountain pioneer Dave McCoy finally made a small rope-tow operation just for the fun of it... Look at it today! This hand-made flag uses a washed navy canvas and an off-white screen-print.
