How It Works Mammoth P is a unique combination of powerful microbial life forms, purposefully selected and designed for soil, coco and hydroponics applications. It is the first product produced by Growcentia; a team of three Colorado State University PhD soil microbiologists who endeavour to improve soil health and promote sustainable agriculture. Their research has shown how microbes increase crop yields and they have discovered four which have the greatest effect on your plants; Pseudomonas Putida, Comamonas Testosteroni, Citrobacter Freundii and Enterobacter Cloacae. These four microbes actively work together to free up phosphorus that would otherwise be bound up with minerals and unavailable to the plant. Studies have shown that in some cases up to 70% of the phosphorus you are feeding your plants is actually wasted due to it being unavailable to them! The benefits of phosphorus are widely known, this key component is required for healthy growth in plants throughout all stages of grow and bloom phases. The increase in phosphorus leads to an improvement in every part of the plant’s life, whether it be rooting cuttings or in bloom. It’s possible to see a huge 16% increase in yield as well as greater resin production just by including Mammoth P into your existing growth schedule. The higher levels of available phosphorus keep internodes shorter and focus on flower production, this in turn helps protect the rhizosphere, beating harmful pathogens. How To Use Mammoth P Mammoth P is suitable for all types of growing medium as well as watering systems and hydroponic setups. The beneficial bacteria last around 7 days in your growing medium so for best results we suggest to apply it twice per week to keep the levels high, however a single application will still work fine. It should be used throughout the entire growth cycle. The dosages vary depending on the type of system or growing medium you are using, we have detailed these below. Soil The recommended dose 0.16ml - 1.06ml per litre depending on the stage of growth. The lower dose is for young plants, it gradually increases as plants grow and progress to flowering then will drop back off for flush. Hydro/Coco Use 0.16ml per litre throughout the entire growth cycle. As Mammoth P contains living bacteria it is important to use with de-chlorinated water. Tap water contains chemicals that can be harmful to the microbes and kill them so it should be left to stand for 24 hours before use. Alternatively use Ecothrive Neutralise with every watering to immediately make it safe for use. Always add Mammoth P at the very end of your nutrient change after all other products are added as well as pH. Never use products that contain Hydrogen Peroxide with Mammoth P.
