A beautifully balanced big red, offering serious value compared to Grenache-based wines from the Rhône Valley. From the same stable as the unoaked this pure Garnacha spends at leas t two months in barrels. Malolactic fermentation and then the lick of oak impart a smooth, almost creamy texture to the rich dark fruit, and from somewhere there's a bright, almost minty herbal note that glitters through the full, vibrant bramble and cherry character. This is a hearty wine that will be perfectly at home alongside the richer fare of the colder months.
