Mango Quartz is a very rare Qua rtz that can only be found in very small amounts in Boyaca, Colombia. The sometimes fibrous appearing inclusions are rare Halloysite, a clay mineral usually formed in areas with volcanic deposits found in a white - yellow colour, the yellow colour coming from the presence of iron oxide. Like other Colombian Quartz, they are often a very bright, clear, high quality Quartz, sometimes found in delicate spiky clusters with elongated crystals.
