A 1920s Malayer rug from NW Persia. The narrow dark brown field is filled with flowerheads and leaves. Terracotta floral main border; inner pale blue floral guard and ivory linked rosette outer guard. Overall even wear with corrosion to dark browns. Small repair top left border. Largely intact woven ends - unusual for a rug of this age. 205 x 108cm Show more
