Mannaz is the rune of the human - of self-awareness, community and the fullness of a life lived in relation to others. It speaks to what we are to each other and what we are to ourselves, the inner life and the life shared with those around us held in balance. At Yule, the most communal of the Norse celebrations, Mannaz on the tree acknowledges the most fundamental truth of the season: that the warmth of it has almost nothing to do with the fire and almost everything to do with who is gathered around it. Hand made and hand finished. Twine included for hanging.
