A happy blend of superwash merino wool and modal (a manufactured cellulose fiber), Feliz has lovely drape without sacrificing wool's "bounce". The popular Manos del Uruguay space-dyed colours take on a heathery look that blends the hues beautifully in this yarn. 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 30% Modal. Feliz is a very special merino yarn, the addition of Modal, an ecological fiber derived from the eucalyptus, gives it a very particular touch, less woolly, with lots of luster and suitable for all seasons. The resulting fabric is fresh, with great drape and stitch definition. The modal provides a special shine and a heather effect to the colors that we love. Feliz, as its name in Spanish (happy) suggests, is a no-fuzz, easy to knit, wear and care for yarn. We recommend buying enough yarn to complete a project. To give an overall blended effect, knit two rows from one skein and then two rows from another.
