Balsamic vinegar and maple syrup is a match made...well, in the woods. It takes 40 gallons of syrup to make one gallon of syrup. Of the four grades of syrup, we chose the dark/robu st level. The sweet, bold flavor blends Goldilocks-like with the tartness of the balsamic for the perfect blend. We get the maple syrup from a local sugar bush. Their syrup has won the Best of Show award at the New York State Fair for three consecutive years.
