Emperor One is an improved variety of upright Japanese Maple that is similar to the classic Bloodgood (tends to stay a little smaller than Bloodgood Maples). This extraordinarily stunning tree adds interest, distinction, and property value to your home! Emporer maples are ideal for cooler regions where delicate new leaves can be damaged by late frost. Care Japanese maples thrive in conditions that mimic their native habitat which would be areas that offer shelter from harsh winds and protection from the afternoon sun.
