Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm).Amélie Lehoux is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Montreal, Canada, known for mixing collage, traditional media, and digital into work that sits somewhere between the tangible and the intangible. She describes color as the first thing you notice in any image, and with the Maple Throw, she leaned all the way into that idea. She spends a lot of time at Montreal's botanical gardens, and that habit of looking closely at leaves, shapes, and organic forms bled into creating the Maple throw. Nothing is quite symmetrical, nothing is quite still. Read our interview with Amélie Lehoux here. Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form.
