Oscar Rossignoli - Mar Adentro [CD] Oscar Rossignoli is quite possibly the busiest musician in New Orleans. Oscar is the first call for not just Jazz, but funk and world music. Osc ar's journey began in his native Honduras where he studied classical piano at a conservatory for much of his youth. After hearing jazz pianist Michel Camilo, his ears perked up to Jazz. Twelve years ago, Oscar landed in Louisiana to study at LSU. Oscar plays regularly with his own trio but also in the bands of New Orleans legends such as Brian Blade, Herlin Riley, Jason Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, John Boutte, Branford Marsalis, Donald Harrison, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Victor Goines, Joe Dyson, Bill Summers, the Masakowski Family, and so many others.We'll begin a publicity campaign through Jazz Promo Services to spark interest from radio and clubs. We've discussed upcoming features with Down Beat and All About Jazz, both of whom are on board. One of our goals is to get him exposure with NPR and hopefully the Tiny Desk Concert Series. The vinyl version will debut in November as a RSD Black Friday release, with a clear vinyl variant. We're targeting a regular black vinyl version for early 2027.Oscar is a special talent.
