Pterophyllum scalare is one of the most popular tropical aquarium fish and has been kept by hobbyists for nearly 100 years. As such, there are many available morphs from solid whit e to solid black and everything in between. Angelfish make good community fish with mid to large sized tankmates, although their large adult size means especially small species such as cardinal tetras are generally best avoided. These are the popular tricolour or koi morph, with irregular black yellow and silver mottling across the body and fins. These specimens are about 1.5-2" in diameter. Show more
