That makes it the right latch for unsprung lever handles, unsprung mortice knobs and heavy lever handles that droop on a lightly sprung latch. The 3" size is the length M.Marcus recommends for unsprung mortice knobs, and it takes bolt through fixing for round rose furniture. FinishAntique brass is an aged finish with darker bronze tones and brighter brass highlights, sealed with a clear protective lacquer. It is chosen to match the antique brass door handles, knobs and hinges in the M.Marcus range. Antique finishes vary slightly in tone from piece to piece, which is a characteristic of the finish rather than a fault. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
