York Security Tubular Latch 2 1/2" Polished Brass Finish Manufacturer: M.Marcus Brand: York Security Manufacturer SKU: YKTL2N-PB Finish: Polished Brass Material: Steel and Metal Alloys Specification Drawing: View the PDF line drawing This York Security standard duty tubular latch is the everyday latch for internal doors that do not need locking from either side. It is lightly sprung, so it is designed to work with handles that have their own return spring, such as sprung lever handles and sprung mortice knobs, keeping the action smooth rather than stiff. The 2 1/2" size is the usual choice behind sprung lever handles on backplate or rose. FinishThe polished brass faceplate is lacquered to hold its shine. Wipe it with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and avoid metal polish or aerosol cleaners, which break down the lacquer. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary. Key Features Lightly sprung latch for sprung lever handles and sprung mortice knobs Suits 8mm door handle spindles Suitable for round rose furniture that needs bolt through fixing Latch bolt is fully reversible for left or right handed doors Not recommended for unsprung mortice knobs - choose a heavy duty latch instead Explore the Matching Locks and Latches This product is part of our M.Marcus Tubular Latches collection.
