Produced by Hoshino Seichaen in Yame, Fukuoka. Famous for their high-grade shaded teas such as Gyokuro and Matcha, Hoshino Seichaen has been producing tea in the foggy mountain vil lage of Yame for almost 80 years. Mare Winner of the 2016 Japanese Tea Awards. A wonderfully balanced green tea, showcasing the expertise of Hoshino Seichaen and the exquisite flavour of Yame Gyokuro. Gyokuro is shaded green tea, and often regarded the highest grade of Japanese tea. The shading means the tea is sweet and umami, without bitterness or astringency.
