Our amazing Mare Mugs, a new product for io e te and one we are very excited about. The wavy edge design complimented by the sea foam glaze, takes inspiration from the sea meeting the sand in Tropea. Each piece is 100% unique in design and shape. We collaborated with Grace & Greene Clayworks to create these beautiful pieces, using ancient techniques of slab building, coiling and pinching to make the unique organic forms. Inspired by the rolling waves of the sea, the glaze technique included uses thin glazes letting them cascade over the mugs - pooling in crevices and forming curves as it runs. The mugs are - Drink safe- Dishwasher safe if carefully stacked but hand wash is recommended to maximise longevity- Not microwave or oven safe size: 8cm x 10cm Show more
