The Octopus Loop can be used on the right or left side, with the hose position "under the shoulder". It guarantees maximum freedom of movement in all directions. The Octopus Loop a llows the hose to be positioned below the shoulder. This configuration is ideal for technical diving, but many divers have also preferred it for recreational use.
