Repeated warm rain and humid conditions required patience, daring and careful selected hand-picking to bring the best fruit possible into the winery in early to mid April. The resu ltant wine shows sweet pineapple and intense peach flavours, has generous mouthfeel and a firm backbone. Fermented and aged for 12 months in French oak barriques and allowed to go through full malolactic fermentation, with appropriate cellaring this wine should provide excellent drinking from 2024 to 2030. Sam Kim from Wine Orbit says: "Complex and enticing, the wine shows golden peach, melon, vanillin oak, and oatmeal characters on the nose.
