To reduce sooting, trim wick to 1/4" every time the candle is lit. Burn candle on a level, heat resistant surface. Avoid using in drafty areas. Never burn a candle for more than 2-3 hours at a time. STOP burning when 1/4" of unmelted wax remains in bottom to avoid breakage/damage. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.
