Bred by Dr. Henry Munger of Cornell University and released in 1976, Marketmore 76 is a popular open-pollinated variety that produces an abundance of 6 to 8-inch-long slicing cucum bers. Excellent flavor and reliable performance have made Marketmore 76 the standard for slicing cucumbers. Plants show excellent resistance to scab and intermediate resistance to mildews and cucumber mosaic virus. Harvests begin approximately 58 days after sowing.
