Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 01 express steam locomotive with a type 2 ´2´T34 coal tender. Large Wagner smoke deflectors, silver boiler bands, and buffer-head warn ing stripes. The locomotive looks as it did around 1950. Product description Model: This is a version of the class 01 with Wagner smoke deflectors. The loco has a bell armature motor, finely detailed rods, imitation brakes, and rail clearance devices. The loco is prototypically equipped with an inductive magnet and buffer plate warning stripes.
