Step into the height of fashion at the turn of the 17th century in the Marlowe Elizabethan and Jacobean shoes. A tie closure, open sides, and a low, practical heel makes these late Renaissance era shoes perfect for both indoor and outdoor fairs and events. Marlowe is accurate for c. 1580 through the 1630s. This type of shoe represented the return to heeled styles and was the pinnacle of fashion for the nobility in its early days, but soon became the shoe for everybody.
