Made from brass, with four glass panels set in the frames and a simple carry handle. A small catch allows the door to be lifted to place a candle or tealight inside. Great by a fireplace or on a kitchen table for atmospheric lighting, or outside on a summer evening. The brass frame of each lantern is skillfully soldered around the glass by local metal workers using traditional techniques. Note that this handmade process results in weld marks on each piece, a feature that tells the unique story of how each product is crafted.
