Marolo is one of Piedmont's most respected artisan distillers, and their Grappa di Barolo Riserva is made from the pomace of Nebbiolo grapes — the same variety behind Barolo itself . Riserva ageing in wood gives it depth and colour that sets it apart from unaged acquavite. Expect a spirit with warmth, structure and the earthy, floral character that Nebbiolo pomace carries well.
