Zellige and bejmat tiles are hand made in Fez using traditional, centuries old and artisanal methods. Each tile is individual and may not exactly match the colour and surface textu re of the sample tile you receive. Fossilised shell pieces in the clay found around Fez cause pitting in the surface, chips and hairline cracks. This is totally normal and gives the rustic and authentic look we love.
