Viking Lander, Charles O. Bennett - Martin Marietta, 1975Bennett started out as a security guard at Boeing, slowly working his way into illustration and became a illustrator for Ma rtin Marietta. Here his envisioning of the lone Viking Lander beginning its work on Mars. This lander would be the first to give us close up photos of the surface and test the rocks and soils.
