Citrus and Honeysuckle Marsanne Please Note – This stock is extremely limited, and we are offering a maximum of 6 bottles for purchase, per customer. WINEMAKING The Marsanne is about complexity and texture, getting ripe fruit flavours to sit harmoniously with these characters. We harvest the grapes between 13-13.5ºBe. Harvested at night, pressings are kept separate, fined and added back to the wine if deemed of sufficient quality. This provides maximum flavour. The juice is 100% barrel fermented in 25% new and 75% one to two-year-old French oak barriques. Minimal fining is used (skim milk), filtration is also kept to a minimum and bottling carried out as soon as possible COLOUR Pale Straw Colour. AROMA Lovely balance between lively fresh honeysuckle characters and some light savoury complexity from barrel ferment. PALATE Honeysuckle and nectarine fruits fill the front palate and are backed by subtle oak and complexity. The savouriness gives a lovely texture to the mid-palate and is backed by a fine acid structure providing a long clean finish. A wine that drinks well now but will develop into a far more complex wine over the next 10 years or so. CELLARING Drink now or cellar for up to 10+ years.
