Original is 60cm x 40cm, Oil and oil pastel on canvas. Limited edition prints available. This beautiful butterfly is the rare Marsh Fritillary. A lovely gentleman commissioned me t o paint one on a burnt tip orchid to remind him of his walks on Martin Down near Salisbury. I have tried to make the butterfly and one orchid the main visual by blurring the background. This was painted with oils and its owner was very pleased with the results. Show more
