Produced to accompany the exhibition Neighbours in Space and Time: Grafton Architects at Sir John Soane's Museum (2022-2023), which explored the relationship between two of the principal buildings on Lincoln's Inn Fields: Grafton's Marshall Building for the London School of Economics and Political Science (44 Lincoln's Inn Fields) and Sir John Soane's Museum (13 Lincoln's Inn Fields). Bridging space and time and celebrating this relationship between the two neighbours, the exhibition paired never-seen-before drawings by Grafton, which shed light on the design and construction process, with specially selected drawings from Sir John Soane's archive. Grafton Architects is a Dublin based firm, headed by 2020 Pritzker Prize Laurates and 2022 Daylight Award winners Shelley McNamara and Yvonne Farrell.
