Ingredients: Marshmallow root Common use: Gentle, soothing support for the mucous tissue, such as the throat and respiratory systems (tea, gargle); soothes urinary tract & gastrointestinal health. NOTE: Marshmallow leaves have a gentler demulcent action than the root. Suggested directions: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ to 1 teaspoonful of herb. Allow to steep 4-7 minutes, then strain.
