NOTE: Excessive squeezing of the dropper ball is not necessary. When the dropper is squeezed once, it will only pull up a 1ml serving into the glass dropper. The standard 1-5 higher alcohol ratios have stood the test of time and are usually needed to properly extract the herb. The alcohol can only hold so much material before it is saturated. At the saturation point, you need more alcohol to continue pulling out the plant material . So in short, lower ratios will not always mean a superior product.
