Shortly after, a confrontation with Mordo led Strange to ally with the young Spider-Man, who helped Strange rescue several people from a mystical dimension. The experience was so traumatic that Spider-Man asked Strange to remove his memories of the event, although this also made them forget Spider-Man's acts of heroism. Impressed by the bravery and altruism of the young hero, Strange came to consider him a friend, and the two joined forces many times.
