One of these two solves a problem your mutant list already has, and the other one is a luxury, depending entirely on how you play. Nightcrawler is the answer to a squad that keeps arriving one turn too late: he goes where he is inconvenient, contests something your opponent thought was safe, and pulls a teammate out of trouble. Bishop is the answer to a squad that folds under shooting, since absorbing incoming energy and giving it back is exactly the wrong thing to point a ranged attacker at.Both are legal for the Uncanny X-Men and Bishop also plays for X-Force, so a black-ops mutant list gets use out of half the box on its own. Neither can lead, so this is reinforcement for a collection that already has Cyclops, Storm or Professor X in it.Three Team Tactic Cards come with the pair, and both miniatures offer multiple assembly options, which matters if you expect to own more than one of either over time. The obvious thing to check is duplication. Both characters also appear in the Xavier's Students Affiliation Pack alongside Colossus and Magik, so if you have not bought either yet, that box is the better value of the two.
