It leans on positioning, board control and knowing which effect to use before your opponent commits, rather than out-damaging anyone. That makes it a poor fit for a player who wants to charge in and roll dice, and a very good fit for someone who enjoys a puzzle. The weakness is real: mystics tend not to be tough, and a fast melee list that reaches them early can unpick the whole squad.Because it is an affiliation pack rather than a character pack, you are getting most of a playable roster in one purchase, which makes it a reasonable second box after a core set.
