Neither of these two is loyal to anything, which is exactly why the box is useful. Shang-Chi plays for the Avengers and the Defenders, and Silver Sable covers the Defenders, the Web Warriors and the Criminal Syndicate, so one purchase reaches four affiliations across both sides of the game. They play similarly enough to be honest about it: both are skilled, mid-cost fighters who want to get into contact and neither brings a way to threaten the far side of the table. If your list already has three characters who solve problems by walking up to them, these two do not fix your gap. If it has too many specialists and no reliable damage, they very much do.Six Team Tactic Cards is a lot for a two-model box, and that card pool is the real value: much of it is usable outside this pairing.Defenders players get the most out of it, since both characters slot straight into that roster and the affiliation always wants more competent bodies. Criminal Syndicate players buy it for Sable alone, which is a defensible reason. Anyone building a shooting-focused squad should look elsewhere.
