Cheap characters are what make this squad function. Honey Badger costs almost nothing, X-23 and Domino sit just above her, and only Cable takes a real bite out of your available threat. That means an X-Force list fields more models than most, and every one of those models is fast. The plan follows from the arithmetic. You are not out-slugging anyone, you are arriving on two objectives at once and forcing your opponent to split their attention, then removing a target with a coordinated strike when the opportunity appears. Cable's leadership is what holds that together, and he is the only character here you cannot afford to lose early.Fragility is the honest limitation. Concentrated attacks remove these characters quickly, so a mistake in positioning costs a model rather than a turn, and slow durable factions will beat you if you let a game turn into one big fight in the middle.Eight Team Tactic Cards make the box unusually generous. Three of the four also reach into Weapon X and the wider mutant affiliations, so nothing here is stranded if you change direction later.
