The flowers display striking variations in colour, including deep oranges, reds, and red-oranges, sometimes with pink to purple hues. The characteristic triangular shape of the flowers, formed by the fused sepals, is typical of Masdevallia orchids. This species thrives in cool, humid environments and requires specific care to maintain its health when grown indoors.
