The Masimo Rad-7 can be plugged into the wall and will o perate as a beside pulse oximeter and includes alarms. The second use of the unit is a detachable, battery-operated wireless device, which can be strapped to the wrist or carried in hand, to facilitate untethered monitoring during transport and ambulation.
